Caramoan Adventure!

It was a late Friday night of May 15, 2010 when Erveene, JunJun, Apleh, Thea, Wency, Grace and I met at the Lucena Grand Terminal. Our destination – Caramoan Islands.

It was a long journey – about 6 hours. Good thing I was travelling with a large group so the trip was more enjoyable than usual. The kulitans took my mind off the long trip ahead of us. It was around 6 in the morning and we were finally in Sabang.

From Sabang Port we took a boat goCaing to Guijalo Port it’s about a 2 hours ride. 2 hours of seating on the boat can really be painfull in your buttocks but you can enjoy beautiful scenery and maybe a chat with your friends can pass time.

Finally around 8 Am we arrived at Guijalo Port then we rode a tricycle to RiverView Vacation Inn Caramoan.

Our second day in Caramoan means one whole day of island hopping. We woke up as early as 6am since our call time is 7am.

We were all excited to see the islands of Caramoan and the still water amazes us as we travel by boat, and finally after 2 hours of boat ride we reached caramoan islands…

We finished the day exhausted but we definitely enjoyed all the islands. For more pictures click here...

Gayon Calaguas!

After a week of planning and drinking sessions with my highschool friends we decided to go to Calaguas. Calaguas is one of GREAT beaches that is still not yet commercialized. The local’s called it Calaguas Group of Islands and it is located at the coast of Camarines Norte. It’s a perfect place for a beach camping experience.

Calaguas or Mahabang Buhangin was beautiful, there was no doubt about it. I learned about Calaguas from one of my friends just about a month or so ago. I googled it and found out that it’s an island north of Camarines Norte.

They say nothing worth having comes easy and the voyage to Calaguas lived by the quote. We were mesmerized by its beauty. The color of the beach is turquoise over white powdery sand.  The water were clear and sparkling. In fact, the people swimming were even glowing. I have not yet alighted on our boat but I have concluded that it’s the best beach I have ever seen so far. I fell even more in love when I stepped on its fine sands.  It was so gentle on my feet.

Sunset is my least favorite part of the day, but watching the sun goes down in Calaguas made me look forward to more sunset in different places.

Thanks to Northlink Events and Travel Services specially to Jonel and Darius for a 2 days and 1 night worry free stay in Calaguas. For more pictures CLICK HERE...
