Caramoan Adventure!

It was a late Friday night of May 15, 2010 when Erveene, JunJun, Apleh, Thea, Wency, Grace and I met at the Lucena Grand Terminal. Our destination – Caramoan Islands.


It was a long journey – about 6 hours. Good thing I was travelling with a large group so the trip was more enjoyable than usual. The kulitans took my mind off the long trip ahead of us. It was around 6 in the morning and we were finally in Sabang.

From Sabang Port we took a boat goCaing to Guijalo Port it’s about a 2 hours ride. 2 hours of seating on the boat can really be painfull in your buttocks but you can enjoy beautiful scenery and maybe a chat with your friends can pass time.


Finally around 8 Am we arrived at Guijalo Port then we rode a tricycle to RiverView Vacation Inn Caramoan.


Our second day in Caramoan means one whole day of island hopping. We woke up as early as 6am since our call time is 7am.

We were all excited to see the islands of Caramoan and the still water amazes us as we travel by boat, and finally after 2 hours of boat ride we reached caramoan islands…

We finished the day exhausted but we definitely enjoyed all the islands. For more pictures click here...

Kwebang Lampas, Pagbilao Quezon

It was Holy Monday when Apleh, Julius, Erlman, Junjun, Wilbert and I decided to spend a day at the beach here in our province of Quezon in Southern Luzon, beaches are not the most visited picnic sites. However, for us who searched the beauties of our town, a fine-sand and a privately-kept beach in the quite part of Pagbilao town proved to be a perfect pick not only because of it’s white sand, but also of it’s Kwebang Lampas, a cave near the shoreline that may have been formed by waters flowing through it.

The beach is simply beautiful. It has a fine white sand and crystal-clear waters that change with alternating shades of emerald and azure. It’s seabed is devoid of rocks, seaweed and rough coral which is my kind of beach for swimming. Some coral formations however, can be seen by swimming furter from the shore. The shoreline is clean and well-maintained. There are a lot of shady areas as well where you can just lay a blanket if you don’t want to rent a cottage.

Coron, Palawan

It was my first time to go to Busuanga, Palawan, which most of us Filipinos know as part of Coron. I didn’t know what was ahead of me when I went there. And I can say that I was so amazed by the beautiful city of Busuanga. We stayed at Mt. taypas hotel, which gave us quality service and a nice ambiance…

Day 1 - Conquering Mt. Tapyas and Maquinit Hot Springs

Mt. Taypas is one of the popular destinations and the second highest place in Coron town in the province of Palawan. From the top, you can see the view of the whole island which was breathtaking!

On our way down, I could already feel my legs shaking. But the view was great and the sunset was marvelous. Then, we went to Maquinit Hot Springs to relax our almost-ready-to-give-way bodies from the climb.
