Kamayan sa Palayisdaan

Kamayan sa Palaisdaan is a native restaurant, located in Tayabas, Quezon. I can say that this is the ideal getaway restaurant for seafood lovers. This is owned by Rosauro de los Santos and  her wife, Evangeline. The owner was really into fish since he was a kid so he decided to set up a fish pond. Customer afterwards came to buy fresh tilapia from the fishpond time passed by when customers would ask him to cook the fish he sells. And that's who he started.

In April 1992, he set up his own version of the family business for a reason that he wanted to make a living for him and to help the people around the neighborhood by giving them jobs. The pond took eight months to construct and the restaurant now has 56 bamboo huts plus two halls that can host 1,700 people.

Kamayan sa Palayisdaan is blessed with cool climate, bracing mountain breeze, lush vegetation. Also, you will be able to experience how it is being one with nature, eating with your bare hands and dining in nipa huts floating on a pond.
